Here are a series of typical questions we receive from clients. If you have any further questions or inquiries, please feel free to contact us.

What is a cake truffle?

It's a two to three bite of delicious cake coated with real Belgian white or dark chocolate, absolutely decadent and not too sinfully over-indulgent. Sometimes also referred to as a cake bite, cake ball, cake morsel, cake round, or cake bit. Also, a cake truffle is similar to a cake pop except minus the stick.

Do you have a minimum order?

Yes, we do.

  • The minimum order is 12 cake truffles (1 dozen) of the same flavour.
  • For custom flavour orders, the minimum order is 24 cake truffles (2 dozen) of the same flavour.

How much advance notice do you need for an order?

  • We require at least 1 week's advance notice for all orders.
  • For large orders (orders over 4 dozen), we require a minimum of 2 weeks notice.
  • If time permits, rush orders can sometimes be accomodated for existing clients. Please call us for more information.

What are your hours of operation?

Our business hours are:

  • Monday-Saturday: 9 AM to 6 PM PST
  • Sunday: CLOSED

How do I place an order?

You can place an order by calling us during our business hours. We can discuss the details of your order over the phone and schedule a consultation, if desired for custom orders.

What are your delivery options

  • Free pick-up is available from our homebase.
  • Free hand delivery is available for the Langley area and parts of Surrey (please inquire).
  • All other orders will be delivered by courier with an extra cost (to be determined).
  • Pick-up or delivery is not available on Sundays.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes, pick-up from our homebase is available anytime during our business hours. Our homebase address will be provided to you upon request of pick-up.

Do you ship cake truffles?

No, unfortunately, we DO NOT ship out our cake truffles due to food safety regulations.

What forms of payment do you accept?

At this time, we only accept cash, personal cheques and bank INTERAC e-transfers. Please make cheques payable to: Jes Hunt.

Do you require a deposit?

Yes, but only for large orders (orders over 4 dozen). A deposit of 50% is due upon placement of your order to secure the date and supplies. The remaining balance is due upon delivery/pick-up of your order.

What is your cancellation policy?

At least 3 days notice is required for all cancellations to receive a full refund of your deposit. Anything later and the deposit will no longer be refunded.

Are your cake truffles food allergy friendly?

Unfortunately, no, our cake truffles ARE NOT food allergy friendly. All of our cake truffles contain eggs, flour, and some peanut products. Cake truffles are made in a kitchen that is exposed to eggs, peanuts and gluten.

Where are the cake truffles made?

Our cake truffles are lovingly handcrafted by me, Jes Hunt, out of our homebase, my personal residence in Langley. Our cake truffles are made closest to the date of pick-up/delivery.

How do I store the cake truffles?

We recommend storing the cake truffles in the refrigerator upon arrival, if not serving immediately.

How long will the cake truffles stay fresh?

Our cake truffles will stay fresh for 7-10 days if refrigerated and stored in an air-tight container.

What size are the cake truffles?

Our cake truffles are about 1 ½ inch (4 cm) rounds, the ideal size for one to indulge in. When served at parties, most people find a serving size of 2 cake truffles is more than satisfactory.

Do you have cake truffles in stock?

No, all cake truffles are made to order.

Can I purchase your cake truffles in store?

No, at this time, we only make our cake truffles to order.
